Sometimes it seems that several things come together at one point and that doesn't necesarely mean it's a good thing. 2 weeks ago, my washingmachine broke down, we did get a new one fairly quick but of course by then the laudry was huge. Last weekend, well just say that the new washingmachine did a huge job, I did all the laundry, but unfortunately that also means a lot of folding and ironing.
It took an entire sunday to get comfortable!
On sunday we went to see my grandmother at the retirementhome, she's still quit well for her age (87). Sometimes she's muttering about those old people over there or she gets annoyed by her daughter who she thinks is older in saying and doing, hahahaha...
Now, my grandmother is knitting scarfs for every grandchild and greatgrandchild she has, we just need to supply her with yarn, and this time it was my son's turn for one. He's quit pleased with it!
But now, challenges!
First one is from 'another freaking scrapping challenge' with a theme: PASSION. Everyone who knows me well, knows that I'm a huge metalfan, more specific, Rammstein. I've been following them since 2001, so in tribute to them I've made this LO.
I used white cardstock as a basis and a sheet of patterened paper of the Poppy beach grass from S.E.I.
As a title I chose 'Feuer Frei' because they use a lot of pyrotechnics in their shows as you can see on 1 of the pictures. It's also the title of a song of theirs.

For the 2nd challenge I used the sketch of 'another freaking scrapping challenge' and chose a beautiful picture of my daughter Eleni. I used 2 sheets of patterened paper from the What's up collection from Basic Grey. From the leftovers I punched out flowers.

I've combined the challenge from Dutch Dare (Love is all around) with the challenge from Creanijn (to use journaling on strips of paper). I used 2 sheets of patterened paper from the Marjolaine collection from Basic Grey. I immediately fell in love with that paperpad, the green and blue colors, the patterns they've used. On new years day I took a snapshot of the grandparents with their grandchildren after they've read their new years wishes.
It's clear to me that they love all their grandchildren, no matter what!
